How GearCred works for brands

Creators tag your gear in their posts and earn through your existing affiliate program. Here's what that means for you.

It runs through your affiliate program

GearCred is an affiliate in your AvantLink, Impact, CJ, Rakuten, Partnerize or Awin program. When a creator tags your gear, the link is a normal tracking link in that program, so sales show up in the network reports you already run, at your program's commission.

There's nothing to install. If GearCred is approved in your program, creators can already earn on your gear.

You see who drove the sale

In the brand portal, every sale is credited to the creator whose post or link sold it.

Set up your brand login

  • Find your brand on the brand login page. If it isn't on GearCred yet, give us its name and website.
  • Sign up with your work email. An address at your brand's own domain is quickest for us to check.
  • We confirm every claim by hand against your website and your affiliate program contacts. Agencies can add every brand they manage to one login.

What the portal gives you

  • Sales by creator for the last 90 days: clicks, orders, sales, commission and each creator's best post.
  • Code and sample requests from creators, which you turn on when you're ready.
  • An invite link and invite emails for the creators you already work with.
  • Every post that tags your gear, and the option to pin one to the top of your brand page.
  • A way to tell your creators about a sale, plus your own logo on your brand page.
