What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I wore these on a rocky trail run that had me second guessing my footing early on, and the ESS rock guard let me stop worrying about every sharp edge underfoot. The natural flex made the miles feel easier than shoes with more structure usually do."The Mesa Summit Hiking Shoe from Xero is built for the trail that asks the feet to do what they were actually designed to do, bend, flex, and feel the ground rather than fight against a stiff, overbuilt shoe. Every run and every hike becomes trail training in this shoe, natural movement carrying through rocky climbs and long flat stretches alike.
