This parka is at home on an ice climbing belay backcountry bivy or on mountaineering expeditions ranging from Rainier and Aconcagua to Himalayan peaks. A PertexA(R) Quantum ripstop nylon shell holds roughly 8 oz. of RDS-certified 850 fill-power HyperDry(TM) Down for ultimate warmth in a lightweight package. The bulk of its weight comes from the down insulation making it extremely light for the amount of warmth it provides.
