What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I switched to this oval setup on a trail bike, and the difference on climbs was noticeable. Power feels more consistent, and I get better traction when things get loose."We grind up loose climbs and roll through technical terrain with the Shimano Boost 12-Spd Oval Chainring from Wolf Tooth, finding a smoother rhythm that keeps momentum steady. Whether we’re pushing through steep sections or navigating uneven trails, it helps deliver power where it matters most. The oval shape works with our natural pedal stroke, giving us more effective power through the downstroke while easing resistance through weaker phases.
