From Trident Fly Fishing

Tom Morgan owned R.L Winston from 1973 to 1991 and he spent his early years guiding anglers around southwestern Montana. With decades of fly fishing and rod building under his belt Winston&';s Tom Morgan Favorite Fly Rod is the rod that carries on this man&';s wonderful legacy. Initially brought to market in 1989 as a limited edition 60th anniversary model the Tom Morgan Favorite is back after its popularity forced demand. Taking its classic graphite design the Tom Morgan Favorite was built with one of Tom&';s foundational principles of rod design and that&';s that "a great fly rod is always a great fly rod." This statement still applies to today&';s TMF rod.
