Whatman Grade No. 1 Filter Paper Whatman 1001-150. 1 Filter Paper 1001-150 is most commonly used for the preconcentration of gases and liquids containing water. Practically any liquid may be preconcentrated and then allowed to flow through this Whatman Grade No. 1 Filter paper. The paper is unaffected by nearly all liquids including water resulting in the paper being nearly transparent. In addition this paper can also be employed for the preconcentration of gases and liquids resulting from the distillation of a compound resulting in a discernible change in color.
