At the heart of the Backcountry Guide Ti is the Mark V titanium action. Titanium offers an incredible strength-to-weight ratio and significantly cuts weight when compared to actions using traditional steel material. Titanium is also naturally corrosion-resistant which makes it perfect for hunting in harsh hunting conditions. All of Weatherby's titanium actions are machined in Sheridan, WY with the tightest tolerances and attention to detail. The Backcountry Guide series features Peak 44's Blacktooth Stock. The forend of this stock integrates two Spartan Precision gunsmithing adapters for seamless compatibility with their ultra-light accessories.
