Through years of innovation and testing, the Weatherby Model 307 action features a bolt that was designed to have a tool-less disassembly which allows hunters and shooters to easily field strip their bolt if needed. The bolt is equipped with an M16-style extractor for positive extraction and reliable ejection. The Weatherby 307 Alpine CT comes standard with an externally adjustable TriggerTech field trigger and PEAK 44 picatinny rail.Weighing in at just 24 ounces, the Peak 44 Bastion stock is the lightest production, vertical grip carbon fiber stock on the market. It features a comfortable ambidextrous palm swell and a substantial thumb groove to promote proper form while shooting.
