VWR Testing Sieves 12 Brass Frame Stainless Steel Wire Cloth 325BS12I Intermediate Height. Sieves are constructed with a heavy solid brass frame to ensure a proper functioning test sieve and a seamless one to provide increased durability and a cleaner environment during testing. These testing sieves feature a half-height frame and the fine mesh size retains its shape better than finer mesh size. Place samples on the top surface of the sieve to determine particle size and place the sample through the center of the sieve to determine retained particles. The top and bottom of the sieve are racked to allow access to the sample.
