From Sportsman's Guide
The night shift just got easier. The Veil 400 is Vortex's first thermal monocular, built for hunters who want sharp, reliable thermal imaging without a steep learning curve. Simple controls you can run without looking, a compact design that feels familiar in hand, and a 2.3x base magnification that balances field of view and target ID for close- to mid-range night hunting. Whether you're running predators, hunting hogs, recovering game, or just moving through unfamiliar ground after dark, the Veil 400 makes the night work for you. A 400x300 thermal detector with 12-micron pixel pitch and 50Hz refresh rate delivers sharp detail and smooth tracking when game is moving.
