The Skate Old Skool 36+ Shoe takes Vans' original low-top and rebuilds it for real skateboarding. SickStick rubber grips the outsole while a vulcanized sole keeps the ride flexible and close to the deck, and DuraCap underlays reinforce the toe and heel where griptape wears fastest. A padded tongue and shorter toe cap bring '90s-inspired comfort without losing the shoe's classic Sidestripe look. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I've worn Old Skools that were built for the street, not the board, and this one is different. The SickStick grip stays locked to my griptape through flip tricks that used to slide my classic pair right off the deck."
