From Trident Fly Fishing
Umpqua Tri-Tone Sighter Tippet is the visual link that keeps you locked in on every drift when you are tight-line nymphing. When the take is so soft you barely feel it this sighter gives you a clear bright reference so you can react fast instead of guessing.Built for Euro nymphing and other tight-line setups it fits between your leader and your tippet as a dedicated strike detection section. The alternating colors stand out against glare broken water dark banks and mixed backgrounds helping you track speed direction changes and micro-stalls that often mean a fish ate your fly.
