From Sportsman's Guide
The U.S. military has spent untold resources studying the stresses put on the human body during the most backpacking scenarios. This Field Pack is more than just a Backpack, it's the same full multi-piece rig used by the U.S. Army to support and evenly distribute a staggering amount of necessary equipment. Includes one massive Rucksack (aka Backpack) followed by sustainment pouches, molded waist belt and enhanced shoulder strap assembly. Weight from the entire system is supported by a rigid MOLLE frame.
