From Eastside Sports

Approach shoe capability without looking like an approach shoe. The La Sportiva TX1 is a lightweight approach shoe built for people who want a little more mountain capability without committing to a full-on technical approach shoe. Around the Eastern Sierra that makes it a great option for everyday Bishop life casual approaches scrambling trail-to-town missions and pretty much anything where you want something more capable than a sneaker but don&';t need the burliness of a La Sportiva TX4. The TX1 has a comfortable low-profile feel that makes it especially easy to wear around town.
