This is an optional Traxxas "Short" Temperature & Voltage Sensor. Temperature data is critical to monitoring performance, gauging the effects of changes, and preventing overheating. The Temperature Sensor features a precision thermistor and is installed on the motor or engine to continually monitor temperature as you drive. The Temperature Sensor can also be fitted to a speed control, battery, or exhaust pipe to monitor its temperature. Voltage measurement isn't just for electric cars; the voltage of a nitro vehicle's on-board battery is also critical. An accessory voltage/temperature sensor is available to measure receiver battery pack voltage on nitro vehicles.
