What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I’ve been rotating this into longer runs that mix surfaces, and it stays comfortable the whole time. The cushioning doesn’t pack out, and the grip feels reliable without being too aggressive on smoother sections."We settle into longer efforts with a steady rhythm in the Ultraventure 5 Trail Running Shoe from Topo Athletic, letting the miles build whether we’re on pavement, dirt, or somewhere in between. It’s the kind of shoe that keeps transitions feeling natural, so we don’t have to adjust our stride as the terrain changes. The ZipFoam midsole absorbs impact over distance while maintaining a stable platform that doesn’t feel overly soft.
