From Trident Fly Fishing
The Tibor Signature 7/8 Fly Reel is the eight-weight workhorse of a series Tibor machines and assembles in Delray Beach Florida built for fish that get to your backing on the first run. Tibor rates it for 7 and 8 weight rods and lists bonefish permit tarpon snook redfish striped bass salmon pike albacore and freshwater bass as its target species. That is the honest range for a reel that weighs 8.5 ounces and still carries 200 yards of 20 pound Micron under a full eight-weight line: a flats beach and jetty reel that a striper or salmon angler can borrow without apology.DesignThe frame measures 3.75 inches by 1.5 inches.
