From Trident Fly Fishing
The Thomas & Thomas Sextant Bamboo Fly Rod bridges the gap between the golden age of angling and the demanding technicality of modern saltwater fly fishing. For many anglers the idea of taking split cane onto a skiff seems perilous yet T&T has mastered the alchemy of creating a bamboo rod that offers the soulfulness of organic material with the backbone required to turn a tarpon. By utilizing a proprietary impregnation process the cane becomes impervious to the elements allowing you to experience the unrivaled casting feedback of bamboo while chasing permit bonefish and snook without fear of structural failure.
