What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "This vest is a must-have for layering. It’s super warm for the weight, and even when it gets wet, the ThermoBall insulation keeps working. I always keep it in my pack since it stuffs into its own pocket—perfect for shoulder seasons and variable weather." When we want versatile core warmth without bulk, we zip into the ThermoBall Vest from The North Face. It’s the kind of layer that adapts to changing weather—adding just enough insulation under a shell on chilly hikes or standing strong on its own during mild, misty mornings. The synthetic ThermoBall™ insulation mimics the packability and loft of down while still keeping us warm when wet.
