What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: “If you’re climbing, booting, or moving fast in cold, windy terrain, these pants shine. The stretch is excellent for high steps and steep movement, the brushed interior adds just enough warmth, and the kickpatches actually hold up to crampon use. They’re dialed for serious mountain days.” When the route steepens and the wind picks up, we rely on the Summit Chamlang Soft Shell Pant to keep us moving efficiently toward the top. Built for alpine missions, these pants balance rugged protection with unrestricted mobility, letting us focus on each placement instead of our layers.
