What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "I wear the Casaval LT Vest over a long-sleeve baselayer for alpine starts and shoulder season hikes. It adds just enough warmth without slowing me down, and the stretch insulation vents really well when things heat up."When the air is crisp but we're still pushing hard on the skintrack, the Summit Casaval LT Vest delivers just the right amount of warmth without overheating. The North Face engineered this minimalist layer with performance-driven VENTRIX insulation and a stretch-woven shell that moves with us through fast-paced pursuits and unpredictable terrain.
