What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "This vest has been perfect for shoulder-season layering. It’s super light but still warm thanks to the HEATSEEKER insulation. I’ve worn it over a fleece in the mornings and under a shell when it’s windy."The North Face designed this vest with lightweight HEATSEEKER insulation that traps heat efficiently without adding bulk, making it perfect for layering on hikes, crisp commutes, or cold-weather travel. Its durable plain-weave fabric is made from recycled polyester and finished with a non-PFC DWR to resist light moisture, while the plush fleece-lined collar adds a soft touch of comfort.
