What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I’ve used a lot of cold-weather bags, but this is the one I’d trust above tree line when the forecast turns ugly. The waterproof shell is a lifesaver on long expeditions, and the heat retention is unreal—you crawl in shivering and thaw out fast."When we’re planning missions where retreat isn’t an option—high-altitude summits, deep-winter expeditions, or extended Arctic travel—we count on the Inferno -40°F Sleeping Bag to safeguard our recovery each night. The 800-fill ProDown lofts quickly and traps heat even in damp environments, while a rugged, waterproof shell resists frost, tent condensation, and blowing snow when the weather turns hostile.
