From Trident Fly Fishing
The TFO Mangrove Coast Fly Rod is built around the shot you actually get not the one you practiced. A fish shows up at fifty feet and closing the guide calls a clock position and the cast has to be loaded and gone in two strokes. Temple Fork Outfitters gave the Mangrove Coast a moderate-fast action for exactly that sequence so the blank starts bending with a short length of line outside the tip and the rod does the work instead of asking you to manufacture line speed you have no time to build. That is what separates the Mangrove Coast from the rest of TFO&';s saltwater lineup.
