From Twisted Throttle
In addition to protection from scuffs and scrapes due to an over-enthusiastic passenger this case cover will also deflect the elements or anything that might be falling from the sky-hey you never know. The guard is manufactured in a strong 0.125in thick composite material that protects against scratches and cushions impacts. If you're tying something down to the lid of your case this cover will also provide additional friction and hold your belongings more securely. This guard is fitted for bikes equipped with an OEM BMW 32L tail case.
