From Thunder Mountain Bikes
Sylvan Sidekick Aluminum Wheels bring pro-level performance and durability to aggressive trail and all-mountain riding - without the pro-level price tag. The 2nd-gen adjustable deadband (9Adeg/13Adeg/18Adeg) kills pedal kickback and filters drivetrain shock/vibration before it hits the rider. Set it to 9Adeg for snappier traditional-hub-feel engagement on climbs or crank up the deadband tool-free as terrain gets rougher for maximum anti-kickback. On short/mid-travel bikes that means a smoother less fatiguing ride and more usable suspension - with zero change to the frame&';s kinematics. Rear-specific low-profile Flux Aluminum rims raise the bar on compliance strength weight and performance.
