What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I picked this up for a young hiker in my family, and the down insulation punches well above what you would expect at this size. It layers cleanly under a shell on bigger days out and works just as well on its own for everyday cold-weather wear."Every kid needs a reliable puffy for the cold months, and the Swix Nordland Down Jacket is exactly that. Down insulation keeps young adventurers warm without weighing them down, the durable outer fabric handles the rougher side of outdoor play, and the elastic cuffs and hem seal in warmth so the cold never finds a way in.
