There are 4 brackets and 8 mounting bolts to help distribute the force of an impact over a larger area. Also designed into this skid plate are rubber dampeners in key locations that further distribute the load. No cutting or drilling required. All mounting hardware included. The Pyramid Plastics Fenda Extenda for the front fender cannot be used on this motorcycle if the SW-MOTECH skid plate is installed because the products occupy the same physical space when the suspension is fully compressed.
