Sterling Fur Company #230 Rectangular Fiberglass Trap Pan Covers are practical set-making accessories designed for use with #2 and #3 traps. Each cover is shaped to fit over the trap pan area and create a barrier that helps prevent loose dirt from working underneath the pan. Keeping bedding material out of this space is important because accumulated dirt can interfere with free pan movement and affect how the trap functions. The rectangular configuration distinguishes this version from Sterling Fur Company's round pan covers and makes it appropriate for traps using the corresponding rectangular pan arrangement.
