From Trident Fly Fishing
The St. Croix Legend Elite Salt Fly Rod is born from that heart-stopping moment on the flats when everything has to go right. Youve spotted the tail the wind is pushing against your shoulder and you have one shot to place a heavy crab fly precisely in the zone without spooking your target. This is where most powerful rods feel like unrefined broomsticks and lighter rods fail to deliver. The Legend Elite Salt bridges that gap with a proprietary blend of high-modulus SCVI and SCIV graphite creating a rod that is not only incredibly light and powerful but also exceptionally smooth.
