From MidwayUSA
The next-generation of Avid stays true to its multispecies mission while improving performance starting with lighter, stronger SCIII+ hybrid carbon fiber blank designs that combine premium SCIII carbon and exotic SCVI carbon materials. The addition of stiff and lightweight SCVI carbon to St. Croix's proven SCIII material results in rods that are lighter without sacrificing strength or durability, while improving overall feel and balance.Next-generation Avid Series freshwater rods also reward anglers with improved ergonomics.
