What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying: "I've run this crank on both a gravel setup and a hardtail, and the cross-compatibility is the real win. The wider chainline clears big tires without forcing weird spacing, and the DUB spindle feels stiff without adding weight. Installing the direct-mount ring is quick, and chain retention with the X-SYNC profile has been rock solid for me, even on rough washboard descents."We count on the SRAM Apex 1 Wide DUB D1 Crankset to give our gravel and mixed-terrain bikes a clean, quiet, and simple 1x drivetrain.
