From MidwayUSA

Designed by renowned custom knifemaker and bladesmith Ed Schempp, the Retract is a dynamic folding knife that offers exceptional cutting performance. Its most distinctive feature is its dramatically curved, full-flat-ground blade. Crafted from 9Cr18MoV stainless steel and somewhat reminiscent of a Nepalese kukri, its negative angle significantly enhances the knife's cutting leverage- especially on draw cuts. The recurved blade is housed in a handle built with full skeletonized stainless steel liners, peel-ply-textured G-10 scales, and a partial G-10 backspacer.
