From Backcountry
The Smith Pursuit ChromaPop Photochromic Sunglasses close the gap between sunglasses and goggles for backcountry ski touring. A 5-base cylindrical shield curvature wraps well past the temple, and removable, magnetic side shields add peripheral coverage on the brightest glacier days without trapping heat the way full goggles do. Evolve bio-based frame material keeps the larger shield light on the face through a full climb. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I start a tour in flat morning light, climb into full glacier exposure, and drop back into shaded trees on the descent, and the lens keeps pace with all three without a swap.
