From Backcountry
The Alpine Crew Top takes 100% Merino wool, known for regulating temperature and resisting odor, and cuts it into a slim silhouette built for daily wear rather than a bulky base layer. A mesh zone at the center back adds breathability right where body heat builds, so the wool keeps working instead of trapping warmth once things get more active. Four-way stretch and a ribbed collar round out a top that moves with the body as easily under a jacket as on its own. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I wear this on cold mornings where I'm moving fast and layering up isn't an option yet, and the mesh at my back keeps me from overheating the second my pace picks up.
