From Trident Fly Fishing
Constructed from highly durable 7075 aluminum tubing the Simms Wading Staff provides a rigid support system for navigating fast currents and uneven riverbeds. The four-section design deploys instantly and locks securely into place via a spring-loaded locking pin ensuring the shaft will not collapse under heavy load or while probing for depth. A contoured closed-cell foam handle offers a non-slip grip in wet conditions allowing for precise placement of the carbide tip against slick rocks. This wading tool integrates seamlessly into a gear system with a compression-molded foam sheath that attaches firmly to wading belts.
