What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "I bring this staff anytime I hit pocket water or swift currents—deployment is fast, the grip feels secure even when wet, and it packs down small in my sling. The aluminum build holds up to rocks and hard use without adding weight." We rely on the Simms Wading Staff when crossing fast-moving rivers, probing slippery rocks, or holding position in heavy current. Simms engineered this classic fishing essential with 7075 aluminum for low weight and high strength, giving us unwavering stability without dragging us down on the approach. The spring-loaded, pin-locking deployment is smooth and secure, letting us go from packed to ready in seconds.
