What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I wore this running the boat at speed on a sunny afternoon, and the snap cape kept the wind off my neck the entire time. The long bill cut the glare off the water enough that I could actually spot fish without squinting."The SunShield Cap from Simms goes on before sunrise and stays on through the brightest hours of the day, built for long runs across open water when the sun has nowhere to hide. A long bill construction cuts glare and adds coverage beyond a standard cap, so spotting fish under bright skies gets easier instead of harder. UPF 50+ protection covers the crown while cooling panels keep things comfortable through the heat of the day.
