Silca Ultimate Wax Starter Pack Description: Wanting to try hot wax as a chain lubricant, but hesitant because of the involved process. The Silca Wax Starter Pack is the product you've been looking for. Bottle number one is a Chain Stripper that removes all of the old greases and oils in two simple applications that can be done while the chain is on the bike. Bottle number two is the Super Secret Chain Coating drip-on wax that is quick and easy to apply. Using wax as a lubricant is the best way to reduce friction between the chain and cogs which increases chain longevity and shifting performance, as well as adhering much longer than a conventional lubricant.
