From Backcountry
The Aero Socks use a custom knit that shapes airflow around the lower leg, cutting 4 to 8 watts of drag at 30 to 45kph compared to a standard sock. Three rows of turbulators sit just ahead of where air would normally separate from the leg, keeping the flow attached longer and shrinking the pressure wake that slows a rider down. A 19. 5cm cuff sits right at the UCI limit for most riders, and Q-Skin yarn keeps the whole sock antibacterial and moisture-managed through a long ride. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I've worn ribbed compression socks for years chasing the same aero gain, and these matched that speed while feeling like a normal sock on my foot.
