From Backcountry
While Shimano's mechanical front derailleurs have always worked flawlessly to deliver quiet, precise gear shifts, its Di2 system has taken it to a whole new level. We can't overstate the precision of a Di2 front derailleur, and if you're running double chainrings on the trail, we can't imagine settling for anything other than the 2 x 11 XT Di2 FD-M8070 Front Derailleur. With proper installation, you can forget about dropped chains forever and the woes of chain rub will become just a dark, distant memory. Shifting also becomes quicker, easier, and more precise. All of this is achieved with an increase in shifting power that’s never affected by cable stretch or contamination.
