From Backcountry
The Shimano RC810 road cycling shoe and Ultegra PD-R8000 pedal come together in one package built around getting a rider's foot as close to the pedal axle as the Ultegra tier allows. The RC810's carbon sole already trims that distance on its own, and the PD-R8000 pedal adds a 14. 6-millimeter stack height and an extra-wide platform borrowed from Shimano's own Dura-Ace architecture. Buying the pair together settles the cleat compatibility question up front instead of leaving a rider to match parts on their own.
