From Sportsman's Guide
The Shimano Nasci FD Spinning Reel delivers comfort and power at a value-driven price, offering both saltwater and freshwater anglers a highly durable reel packed with advanced Shimano technology. InfinityDrive structure, refined line management, and solid internal construction combine to create a workhorse reel that punches well above its price point. The advanced InfinityDrive structure produces lower friction in the reel and improves overall performance. The pinion gear is supported by the spool shaft to reduce rotational resistance without compromising gear strength, resulting in improved winding power and smoother operation when cranking against heavy loads or big fish.
