Gone are the days of deciding between road and mountain bike components to throw on your gravel rig — instead, Shimano's GRX groupset offers a whole slew of new components that are tuned specifically to those of us who prefer the any-road life. The all-new GRX FD-RX810 Front Derailleur is designed for gravel specific riding, and while it contains much of the same technology that you'll find in Shimano's Ultegra road front-derailleur, it's build a little bit differently to accommodate a chainline that's pushed outwards a few millimeters, which enables extra tire clearance, so you can roll atop a bit of pneumatic suspension for those miles of jarring gravel grinds.
