SearsA(R) Kenmore 14809 Humidifier Filter All is not gold that glitters, and all is not mold that filters, but this SearsA(R) Kenmore 14809 Humidifier Filter does indeed trap mold, as well as other contaminants, producing healthy humidified air that is priceless as gold! This filter can make all the difference in your breathing and your indoor environment as a whole. It uses honeycomb-style filter media, which is treated with antimicrobial protection, to remove contaminants like minerals, sediment, and microorganisms. Due to the extra protection against microbes, this filter also inhibits microbial growth of mold, algae, fungus, bacteria, etc.
