The SE stackable sifting pan is a practical classifier for preparing material before gold panning, sluicing, mineral sorting, or other outdoor prospecting work. This green pan uses a 1/8-inch stainless steel wire mesh to let fine material pass through while retaining larger gravel, rocks, and debris that would otherwise slow the recovery process. Sorting material into a more consistent size makes it easier to inspect concentrates and work them through a gold pan or sluice without unnecessary bulk. The pan measures 13-1/4 inches across the top, 11 inches across the bottom, and approximately 3-1/4 inches high, providing useful working capacity while remaining manageable in the field.
