From Trident Fly Fishing
The Scott Swing Fly Rod was built for a swung-fly world that stopped being one thing a long time ago. A modern two-hander has to lift a heavy sink tip and a lead-eyed Intruder off the dangle in February and then put a small soft hackle on a greased line without dragging a wake in June and most rods are honest about only half of that.
