The head sinks faster than the running line and the two densities blend with no hinge. It comes in three sink rates from just under the chop to the bottom.Best ForS1/S3 - An intermediate (1.25 ips) running line and a Sink 3 (3.0 ips) head. This version gets flies under the surface chop.S3/S5 - A Sink 3 running line and a Sink 5 (5.0 ips) head.
