The Schwalbe Pro One TT Evolution Tire skips puncture protection entirely, a deliberate choice that strips out the weight and rolling resistance a protective belt would otherwise add. That decision only works because of the tubeless sealant doing the job a puncture belt normally handles, which is why Schwalbe requires a proper sealant setup and a short break-in ride before the seal can be trusted. A Super Race carcass gives the tire a supple, tubular-like feel despite that stripped-down build, so the ride quality doesn't suffer for the weight savings.
