What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I have been reaching for the Gecko Approach Shoe on everything from single-pitch cragging days to multi-pitch objectives, and the hybrid construction genuinely delivers both approach comfort and technical climbing performance in a single shoe. The SuperGum rubber sticks confidently on moderate rock, and the lace-to-toe closure lets me dial in exactly the right tension for the terrain, whether I am moving fast on a long approach or stepping onto technical ground."The approach ends where the climbing begins, and the best shoes handle both ends of that transition without asking you to compromise on either.
